The Tavern at the Andaz Tokyo Hotel cooks up special holiday dishes using local ingredients for Christmas. There’s grilled Ise ebi lobster with saffron potatoes drizzled with a bisque sauce made from Kyoto’s Ki No Bi gin. You can also enjoy grilled wagyu beef tenderloin with glazed Kyoto carrots, kale salad, mushroom gratin and a muscat bailey red wine sauce for the main course. Other notable Japanese ingredients included in the course are the Fuji salmon and smoked Iwate duck breast, both served as appetisers.
