Time Out says

After completing an apprenticeship in Thailand, the owner of Kanda's Khaomangai has successfully brought back the original flavours of Hainanese chicken rice to Tokyo. One of the delicious secrets of this dish lies in cooking the rice with chicken soup, which makes for a wonderfully flavourful combination. You can choose from three sauces – mildly spiced red sauce, sweet black sauce or lemon sauce - with each one extracting a different essence from the heavenly chicken and rice combination. ¥590 is extremely cheap for such a filling portion (¥890 for a top-up size), and coriander lovers can add some extra green for just ¥100. The shop is relatively small – only 15 seats – and features simple folded tables and plastic chairs, but this modesty just adds to the authentic feeling. Their fried chicken rice and spicy, minced chicken rice are equally wonderful, so repeat visits are recommended. Take-out is also available.
