Time Out says

One of the sprawling Kiwa restaurant group's newer ventures, this three-storey Harajuku eatery (opened in September 2017) stands out amidst the area's scruffy back streets. Named after a Japanese symbol of longevity and good luck, Tsurukame may have tables made from recycled wood, comfy tatami rooms and pretty screen art, the restaurant still can't quite shake off its corporate look and feel. Sashimi and tonkatsu sets, tempura bowls and curry are offered at lunchtime, while the izakaya aspect – sake and a plentiful nabe selection – comes out at night.
