Take your pick of shochu, sake, wine, whisky and a number of other spirits representing all of Japan's 47 prefectures at this newly opened Ebisu eatery, where the food menu might make you do a double-take – yes, it's all horse here. Served in sashimi, grilled, steamed and sushi form, the uma at Umaebisu has nothing to do with the suspicious pork/beef replacement found in ready-made frozen meals all across Europe a couple of years back – this is top-quality, lean meat sourced from some of the country's most accomplished farmers.
