‘I want good sushi, but I don’t have much time.’ For everyone who works in a busy office there is Uogashi Nihon-Ichi, a standing-style sushi bar where you can easily drop by for some quick, freshly prepared, delicious sushi. While it is a standing-only restaurant, they make the sushi for you over the counter, and ordering directly from the chef can be a lot of fun. The season’s freshest fish are used, like maguro (tuna), katsuo (bonito), hirame (flounder) and tai (sea bream). Prices start at ¥75 per piece, or ¥150 for the hand-rolled type. Apart from Dogenzaka, there are branches all over town, including in Kyobashi, Akihabara, Kojimachi, Kichijoji, Asakusabashi and Akasaka.
