Wagyumafia teams up with Afuri for a decadent wagyu yuzu shio ramen
The name 'Wagyumafia' may ring a bell for those who have drooled over its famed wagyu cutlet sandwiches and other extravagant premium beef meals offered at its exclusive restaurants. A Wagyumafia meal does not come cheap, but if you’ve always wanted to taste what the hype is all about, this could be your chance without breaking the bank (sort of).
The beef specialists have teamed up with renowned ramen joint Afuri to offer a special ramen and rice bowl. This collaboration menu is exclusive to Afuri’s Ebisu outlet, with prices that are more approachable, relatively speaking.
Available until August 30, the limited menu features a wagyu yuzu shio ramen (¥3,900) and a wagyu cha siu bowl (¥3,900). The ramen is a twist on Afuri’s signature yuzu shio ramen, but now served with a rich Miyazaki Ozaki beef broth topped with slices of decadent Ozaki beef brisket. As for the cha siu rice bowl, the topping is now Ozaki beef brisket, egg yolk and Wagyumafia's special Golden BBQ sauce.
