Time Out says

Wiseman Coffee is run by barista and coffee roaster Gakudai Kiyama, who has spent time at coffee shops in Japan as well as in Sydney and Toronto. The calming café is cloaked in mostly matte black and brown tones, and taking pride of place at the counter is a gorgeous, state-of-the-art Slayer machine, known to pull a mean shot of espresso.

For your coffee choices, there’s the house espresso blend as well as four to five single-origin beans. When roasting, Kiyama puts an emphasis on mellow flavours to give the coffee a pleasant, fruity aftertaste.

Pair your coffee with the café's popular French toast, which is made by soaking bread in a mixture of egg, milk and flour for over six hours. It’s baked in the oven, browned on the pan and then served with homemade caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
