Unlike its bento-only Akasaka sister, Yaoya Cafe's second Tokyo location is a full-fledged restaurant, found just off Shibuya's Dogenzaka. The concept, however, remains the same: light organic cuisine, made with produce sourced directly from farmers in the capital region. Their main attraction is the reasonably priced, fresh and simple lunch menu: ¥750 will get you a smallish but tasty serving with a choice of meat, fish or curry. Dinner sees the decent wine list come into play – expect to pay around ¥3,500 per person, drinks included.
