#000T Kabukicho

Time Out says

Only in Tokyo would you find a store that offers nothing but an obsessively curated selection of black T-shirts. Known as #000T (pronounced kuro-tii or black tee), this new store in Tokyo’s famed nightlife district Kabukicho takes the stress out of getting dressed by simply offering just about every version of this one closet staple.

Opened by the same folks behind #FFFFFFT, a shop that sells only white T-shirts, #000T offers a range of black tees in different fabrics and cuts sourced from brands around the world. Whether you prefer a snug fit or something loose and oversized, there’s a good chance you’ll find the perfect T-shirt for you.

The shop only operates as a brick and mortar store with no online presence, so you’ll have to browse in person. The owner says he wants to encourage shoppers to really feel the shirts for themselves before purchasing.

Located above the shop is the sleek bar Ikkoku and art gallery Decameron, which are part of the same company. They operate together to turn the store into a culture hub of fashion, food and art.
