Since opening in November 2025, the ReFa flagship store in Ginza has become a go-to destination for anyone looking to experience the Japanese beauty brand’s innovative products, from its iconic beauty devices to its popular hair brushes, showerheads and wellness items.

Spanning five floors, the expansive store offers plenty to explore, with exclusive services and hands-on experiences that make every visit worthwhile. Designed by Gwenael Nicolas, the multidisciplinary designer behind luxury spaces including the nearby Ginza Six shopping centre, the interiors blend contemporary design with natural elements to create a luxe yet approachable environment that reflects the ReFa brand.

The first floor showcases ReFa’s core collection, including its latest products and Ginza exclusives. Head to the second floor for the brand’s haircare, bath care and fragrances, while the third floor is dedicated to ReFa’s recovery wear, linens and wellness items, including special water sourced from Mt Fuji.

Thinking of stopping by? Here are a few more reasons to add ReFa’s flagship store to your Tokyo shopping itinerary.

1. You can try out ReFa’s bestselling beauty devices and hair tools before you buy

One of the best reasons to visit ReFa’s flagship store is that you can browse and experience the brand’s extensive product range firsthand. While ReFa is best known for its beauty devices and innovative hair tools, you’ll also find fragrances, clothing, pillows, towels and even wellness drinks to try in-store.

If you’re particularly interested in trying the beauty devices and hair tools, head to the dresser area on the second floor. Here, you can sit in front of a large mirror and test the hairdryers and hair irons in a relaxed setting. It’s the perfect way to get a feel for how they work and find the model that suits you best. ReFa’s multilingual staff are also on hand to answer any questions and walk you through the features of each device.

2. You’ll discover the brand’s latest innovations in Japanese beauty tech

There’s no better place to explore Japanese beauty technology, with the flagship store stocking a wide selection of devices, including models that are compatible for international use. Notable products include the ReFa Beautech Dryer Smart W (¥40,000), a compact yet powerful hair dryer designed to dry your hair quickly while leaving it with a smooth, shiny finish. The dryer uses smart technology to alternate between hot and cold airflow while keeping your hair temperature below 60 degrees Celsius, helping to minimise heat damage.

Another standout is the ReFa Treatment Iron (¥38,500 sold as a set with serum), which is designed to improve your hair’s texture with just a few strokes. Used together with their dedicated Treatment Serum, the device releases the serum as a fine mist and disperses it using ultrasonic technology to help it penetrate the hair more effectively.

The showerheads are also worth exploring. Products like the ReFa Fine Bubble Veil (¥33,000) combine shower technology with skincare to elevate your daily routine. The showerhead uses the brand’s fine bubble technology alongside a special cartridge that infuses your shower water with skincare benefits, helping to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised.

3. There are immersive, hands-on displays throughout the store

Walk around the store and you’ll discover immersive displays on every floor, designed to let you experience the products in an engaging and interactive way. The shop is divided into different categories, but each area flows seamlessly into the next, making it easy to explore the entire space.

Highlights include the unique shower room centred around a large demonstration tub, where you can try out the different showerheads and their various settings. Showerhead colour variations, hair brushes for wet hair, as well as the brand’s shampoo and conditioner, are also displayed in this area, making it easy to shop the full range.

Up on the third floor, you’ll find the ReFa Water Bar, where you can sample the brand’s exclusive water sourced from Mt Fuji. Known for its exceptionally soft texture, the water is one of the flagship’s unique offerings. The bar also serves ReFa’s inner care drinks, including tonics such as ReFa Hari Keep Collagen, ReFa Heat On Ginger and ReFa Slim Up Vinegar. Alongside the drinks, you’ll also find Edo Kiriko glassware designed exclusively for ReFa.

4. You'll find exclusive items only available at the Ginza flagship

Another reason to visit is the exclusive merchandise that’s only available at the Ginza flagship. Highlights include Ginza-only gift boxes featuring special editions of the brand’s popular brushes and combs in a range of materials and colourways.

The ReFa Heart Brush is one of the brand’s bestselling items and comes in a wide range of colours and finishes, so there’s a style to suit everyone. If you’re looking for a special souvenir, however, don’t miss the brush collection showcasing traditional Japanese craftsmanship. This collection includes the ReFa Heart Toyama (¥36,300), crafted using Takaoka raden lacquerware and mother-of-pearl; the ReFa Bristle Oak (¥39,600), created in collaboration with Karimoku Furniture; and the ReFa Heart Kyoto (¥38,500), which features traditional Kyoto urushi lacquer techniques.

5. You can create a personalised souvenir with the in-store engraving service

Of course, if you want to take things one step further, you can personalise ReFa’s heart combs and brushes with the flagship’s engraving service. Engraving is completed the same day (although only a limited number of requests are accepted each day), making it a quick and easy way to customise your purchase or create a thoughtful gift. The service costs an additional ¥1,100. Aside from hair products, ReFa’s hand towels and sleepwear can also be personalised with embroidered names and initials.
