Operating branches in Jiyugaoka and inside Shinjuku's Lumine Est, these Tokyo-based cheese tart specialists deal in pastel de nata-like delicacies and have become wildly popular over the years: they reportedly sell a whopping 10 million tarts annually, and have expanded as far afield as Hong Kong and Bangkok. Commuters passing through Ikebukuro Station can now get their freshly baked, cheesy fix on the go: this shop opened in December 2015, right in front of the station's Central exit.
