Brigela Decks Tokyo Beach (CLOSED)

'Hybrid sweets' are all the rage in Tokyo right now, with Dominique Ansel's Cronuts getting competition from a seemingly endless range of combo delicacies. Opened inside Odaiba's Decks mall in late summer, Brigela is trying to attract ice cream lovers who don't mind a little carb on the side, serving up decadent 'brioche con gelato' creations. Essentially warm, sweet buns filled with fruity ice cream, these treats are apparently popular breakfast choices in Sicily, and can be sampled for as little as ¥250 (for a small size, from ¥410 for a medium size). We wouldn't recommend making them your everyday morning meal, though.
