Originally from Kamakura, Ca Ca O has delighted Shinjuku chocolate lovers at the station's Newoman mall since spring 2016, and finally expanded its operation in October with this small outpost opened in the basement of the nearby Lumine 1 complex. In addition to dessert treats like rare chocolate pudding and a soft serve made with refreshingly bitter Colombian dark chocolate, the shop sells Ca Ca O's famed chocolate éclairs, previously only available at their Kamakura base and wildly popular among the coastal city's sugar addicts.
