Operating some of the best art bookshops in Tokyo, the folks behind the NADiff brand of galleries and stores expanded their range in July 2015 with this shop, sitting pretty on the sixth floor of Ginza's Sony Building. With a name that refers to a cultivated field, du Champ occupies one corner of a space divvied up into four quadrants, which in turn resemble the Chinese character for field (田) – you get the picture. Head over for a strictly curated collection of art books and related merchandise, representing genres like photography, film, design and painting. Collectors will want to dig deep for true rarities, while the theme of visual expression continues at the neighbouring Sony Imaging Gallery, dedicated to photography- and film-related displays.
