Doraemon is making his way to Ginza with a new pop-up shop at the iconic Ginza Mitsukoshi. The Doraemon Future Department Store, the world's first official Doraemon shop, is located in Odaiba, where it opened last year to commemorate the blue robot cat’s 50th anniversary. Now, it's hosting a pop-up shop in Ginza, featuring an array of Doraemon merchandise, along with freshly baked dorayaki – Doraemon’s favourite snack.
If you’re a big Doraemon fan, keep an eye out for the special Doraemon x Ginza Mitsukoshi collaboration items, which include T-shirts and tote bags. Other items in the store range from Doraemon kitchen and tableware goods to accessories and jewellery including adorable earrings.
Certain items will also have customisation options, such as embroidery and engraving, which you can get done in the shop. Personalise your tote bag or keychain by adding your name or a special Doraemon pattern.
A limited number of Ginza Mitsukoshi original Doraemon stickers will also be given out to customers who purchase from the pop-up shop. The stickers will be distributed to the first 300 customers, so be sure to get there early.
