Deep-fried pasta dough actually makes for a very booze-compatible snack – or at least that's what Saitama-based sweets dealers Sanshu Sohonpo are trying to convince Tokyoites of with this new shop, opened inside the Kita-Senju branch of station mall Lumine in September 2016. The first permanent Tokyo outlet for, well, fried pasta snacks, Fried Pasta Snack serves up flavours like black sesame, tomato and carbonara. If you're planning to down a few konbini brews next time you're in Kita-Senju, this one might be worth checking out.
