Time Out says

This bakery at leisure complex Log Road Daikanyama brings its offerings all the way from Kamakura. Inspired by local crafts, northern California and all things green, Garden House Crafts features a wooden terrace where you can snack on sandwiches, croissants and other treats in the sun.

Its shelves are stocked with over 50 kinds of baked goods daily, including its famed Shio Butter Melon-pan (¥222) which is limited to certain amounts per day. It’s a sweet brioche bread with a cookie crust outer layer and a salt butter centre. The cream bread (¥222) is also a popular treat filled with generous amounts of custard cream. Looking for something savoury? There are plenty of meat and veggie-filled danishes (from ¥111) and focaccia (from ¥315) for an afternoon pick-me-up.

The café has tables inside and outside, from where you can order a range of tartine, sandwiches, salad plates and even an assortment of bread with a side of soup and a drink. Best of all, you can easily customise your meal by adding your choice of eggs, cheese, bacon and veggies on the side.
