Obsessed with spinning your luck for fun toys from Japan’s iconic capsule toy machines? Now there’s a new gachapon hangout you’ll need to put on your radar. The capsule toy machine store at Japan’s oldest amusement park is getting an upgrade this year with an expanded new space, making it one of the largest Gashapon Department Stores in the region.
Reopening on Friday March 18, the revamped store will be upgraded with a whopping 1,200 capsule toy machines offering a variety of fun collectibles for folks of all ages. Similar to the Gashapon Department Store in Ikebukuro, you'll find an overwhelming range of items here including Mini Lotte ice cream charms, Peanuts eco bags and Attack on Titan mobile device stands. Of course, there will also be quirkier items like frog magnets and sparrows set up as snipers. Most items cost either ¥300 or ¥500, making this a great place to use up all that spare change in your wallet.
