The Japan Institute of Design Promotion's annual Good Design Award has been highlighting brilliantly designed products, buildings, projects and much more since 1957. Awarded to entries that 'enrich our lives and encourage advancements in society', these prizes are given out to hundreds of recipients every year, but for a strictly curated selection of the very best Good Design winners from throughout the contest's 60-year history, you'll want to pay a visit to this new shop inside Marunouchi's Kitte building. Exhibiting and selling things like stationery, home essentials and tableware, Good Design Store Tokyo is dedicated to the very best of both pretty and practical Japanese design.
