Granduo Kamata

Functioning as the station building for JR Kamata Station, this facility is divided into the East and West Buildings and opened as a circuit style community department store which supports a touch of luxury in daily life with its two buildings. The East Building targets singles and young parents of the junior baby boomer generation while the West Building targets age groups from mature women to baby boomers. Customers can enjoy a touch of luxury without heading into the center of the city. The area surrounding Kamata station is also a great place for a walk with the venerable Ikegami Honmonji temple constructed during the Kamakura period.
