Time Out says

Ichiya is a great place to try some traditional Japanese confectionery. Here, you’ll find the likes of daifuku (sweet, chewy rice cake) and dorayaki (small pancake sandwich) filled with house-made anko (red bean paste). If you’re new to these sweets, keep it simple with the classic anko dorayaki (¥230) or daifuku (¥220). However, we recommend trying the matcha cream dorayaki (¥320) and black sesame daifuku (¥250).

You can find more traditional Japanese desserts here such as anmitsu (jelly dessert), warabimochi (bracken starch jelly) and zenzai (sweet red bean soup). Parfaits and shaved ice with seasonal ingredients also grace the menu.
