Time Out says

This tiny wagashi (Japanese confectionery) store outside Higashi-Mukojima Station lives up to its name, which can be translated as ‘sweets pilgrimage’. The pleasant smell of the dorayaki pancakes being baked right next to the entrance will lure you in for a shopping spree of traditional sweets – think daifuku mochi, castella cakes, yokan bean jelly and more.

Even though the store’s speciality is dorayaki, with different flavours year round, you should also try the oblong monaka (wafer sandwich), filled with sweet bean paste flavoured with locally grown eggplant. For seasonal specials, check out the store’s official website (in Japanese only).
