Kato Shoten

This greengrocer close to Takadanobaba Station has been going strong for an awfully long time: about 85 years, to be exact. Check out the back of the store, which is almost a shrine to Marilyn Monroe, while the shop owner is a character in his own right. The opening hours are long and somewhat flexible (mainly the closing time), and the produce on sale is all rather affordable – perfect for an easy shop with a nostalgic touch.
