Time Out says

Camera lovers, this is for you. The new Kitamura Camera flagship store, located in the heart of Shinjuku, has six floors perfect for casual and professional shutterbugs. Pick up the latest digital model or a refurbished 35mm film camera – this location has the widest variety of film cameras of any Kitamura store. If you’re looking to trade in your camera or get it repaired, you’re in luck: English-speaking staff are on hand to help you out.

Even if you’re not that interested in photography, there’s still plenty to do as your photo-loving friend spends hours perusing equipment. Get your phone or laptop repaired at the authorised Apple repair room, chill out with a Starbucks coffee and browse through an art book, or even get your professional ID photo taken.

The design of the store is sleek, with mirrored surfaces perfect for selfies, and the sixth-floor vintage salon is filled with Leica cameras (available for purchase, if you’re an avid collector) worthy of a camera museum. Come here if you’re looking to while away a few hours on a rainy day – you might just end up falling in love with photography.
