What’s on

White Kitte

Kitte Marunouchi’s atrium is a winter wonderland this year with a massive 13.5-metre-tall fir tree at its centre. The theme for this year’s display is 'a dazzling world of glistening white – Christmas in the grasslands', inspired by the winter landscapes of Japan’s northern snow country, but reimagined through a festive Christmas lens. Look out for an elegant, understated Christmas tree set amid more than 100 metres of silvery-white LED grass that glisten and pulsate in sync with the tree. There’s an illuminated igloo photo spot next to the tree, too, measuring three metres in height and illuminated with 10 thousand LEDs. Go inside to snap a photo immersed in a world of snowy-white light. Don’t miss the ‘silver grassland’ light show, which is synchronised to traditional Christmas songs such as ‘The First Noel’, ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ and ‘Silent Night’ as well as 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring' by Johann Sebastian Bach. The three-minute show takes place every 30 minutes between 12.10pm and 9.53pm. See here for the playlist and schedule. You can see the tree inside the Kitte shopping centre daily from 6am to 11.30pm.
