Take a trip to Oita prefecture without leaving Tokyo. Dip into a relaxing ‘Aruji no Hiyuizumi’ foot bath at this 'antenna shop' on the Kotsu Kaikan’s underground floor and indulge in some delicious kabosu citrus soft serve while you're at it. You can also purchase regional delicaces like yuzu-kosho pepper, the ever popular confection zabieru, and the jigoku mushi tamago ('steamed egg from hell'), which comes straight out of Oita's searing hot springs.
