Time Out says

After a two-month renovation, this 130-year-old yogashi (Western-style sweet) shop has reopened in Kanda. The shop is still selling sweet treats that will satisfy your tummy at prices that will keep your wallet happy.

The fruit-based desserts are worth a look, with fresh ingredients delivered from the morning markets every day. The strawberry sando shortcake – with its big strawberry proudly standing on top – and the house lemon pie topped with an exquisite meringue are two of the most popular items. For lunch, you can get a piece of savoury French toast topped with bacon and egg, a ham and cheese sandwich and more.

The shop also has a café with an all-you-can-drink option that includes a variety of fresh juices, coffee, hot chocolate, and vegetable soups. (Note that the drink bar is currently suspended due to coronavirus).
