Time Out says

Sneaker brand Redlist, which aims to protect and raise awareness of endangered species, is hosting its first pop-up shop in Hankyu Men's Tokyo department store. You can see its collection of animal-inspired sneakers on the first floor from February 15 to 20.

There are three main designs inspired by different endangered species. The crested ibis shoe has a vivid red stripe that runs down the middle with a white plumage-like design on the top, while the Sumatran tiger sneaker features an eye-catching orange tiger stripe print. The atelopus frog shoe, on the other hand, is monochromatic with geometric shapes, similar to the patterns the frog has on its back.

To commemorate its first pop-up, Redlist is including two additional pairs of sneakers: one entirely white pair and the other entirely black, both of which will be available for pre-order. All shoes go for ¥72,000 per pair and are unisex, coming in sizes from 24cm to 30cm. While the price is a little steep, part of the proceeds goes towards environmental sustainability projects.
