Time Out says

This big department store near the east exit of Ikebukuro Station carries fashion, food and homewares. It’s one of the busiest shops in Japan in terms of customers, and has a lot of popular in-store concessions such as Mujirushi Ryohin and Loft. There is also a wide range of Japanese, Western and Chinese restaurants and cafes. The basement floor (depachika) houses more good-quality concessions, with such shops as The Garden Jiyugaoka, a high-end supermarket.

Rooftop Beer Garden Tenku BBQ Terrace

  • Food and drink events

This barbecue terrace at Seibu Ikebukuro offers three kinds of all-you-can-drink plans in the evening. For ¥3,000 you can get Chinese hors d'oeuvres with roasted duck, sweet and sour pork, and mayo covered prawns. If you’re hungry, we recommend getting the barbecue set (¥4,900) which comes with slabs of pork, lamb chops, sausages and veggies to grill on your own. If it’s a chilly day out, you can always opt for a hotpot set (¥3,800) instead. No matter which one you choose, you’ll get to drink unlimited beer, highball, sours and cocktails for two whole hours.
