Time Out says

2014 marks 100 years since the birth of Tove Jansson, creator of the Moomin characters and the wondrous world these loveable white trolls live in. This display is a slightly edited version of Jansson's official centennial exhibition that was first held in Helsinki, Finland, the birthplace of the artist, and weaves the history of the Moomins into Jansson's personal life story. Starting with the 1945 book 'The Moomins and the Great Flood' and including around 400 paintings, sketches, photographs and other materials, Living with the Moomins is a rare opportunity to look back at the entirety of this multi-talented storyteller's work.
