A new and flashy DIY store in Futako-Tamagawa, Tukuriba opened in 2015 and aims to help even complete beginners get geared up and on their way. The shop houses a rentable workspace (¥1,080 per hour), which comes complete with tools and allows you to bring your own stuff for fixing or building. Workshops on a wide variety of themes are held regularly, and the staff are happy to teach you how to use various tools. Tukuriba is also currently on the lookout for skilled employees, so veteran DIYers with some free time might want to try their luck.
