Union Record Shinjuku

After being rebranded nearly half a century ago, Disk Union’s predecessor Union Record returned to the Tokyo streets in late April 2018. The store stocks about 20,000 records, with a main focus on rock and J-pop. The second floor, named ‘Shinjuku Second Hand Floor – Book Union Shinjuku’,  is where you'll find used video software and books. The third floor is the ‘Shinjuku Jazz Floor’, and the fourth floor specialises in dance music and 'black music' (loosely categorised as African-American-created music), called ‘Shinjuku’s Soul and Dance Music Shop’.
