It's been 40 years since British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood made her debut, selling her clothes at the 430 King's Road, London boutique set up by punk progenitor Malcolm McLaren. Ever the wayward spirit, her designs still look unorthodox even now, as evidenced by some of the deliciously odd footwear on display in this career-spanning retrospective that was first shown at Selfridges in London last year. With 200 shoes to see, this promises to be a real treat for fashion fiends – and you should expect it to be accordingly crowded.
