Time Out says

Tokyo's appetite for building Really Big Towers shows no signs of abating. Following the example of the neighbouring Marunouchi and Akihabara districts, Ochanomizu is getting in on the act with this large-scale development. Housed in a landscaped garden, the 41-storey Waterras Tower and adjacent Annex promise a mix of offices, apartments and commercial space, plus some of the fanciest student accommodation in town.

Jazz Auditoria 2026 in Waterras

Jazz Auditoria is returning once again this April to the multi-facility complex Waterras in Kanda for three days of live music performances. This outdoor jazz festival, coinciding with International Jazz Day, aims to take the popular music genre out from the formal confines of a music club and into the open, making it accessible to the wider public. Organised by legendary jazz club Blue Note, Jazz Auditoria brings together some of the most talented jazz players from around the world for a string of free concerts at the Waterras. Complete with a market and a mobile kids playground, the event is perfect as a family outing. For this year’s festival, expect to see sensational jazz bands such as the Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Jazz Orchestra directed by Eric Miyashiro, the John Beasley & Tomoaki Baba Duo, the Meiji University Big Sounds Society Orchestra and many more. The performance schedule is yet to be announced for 2026. Be sure to check the event website before visiting.
