Held in over 80 countries on the second Saturday of May each year, World Fair Trade Day celebrates and promotes the Fair Trade brand, global trade justice and awareness of trade issues through a variety of events, including tastings, concerts and fashion shows. The Tokyo edition of WFTD sees Jiyugaoka's People Tree and the Global Village NGO team up with the Ethical Fashion College for a day of workshops, displays of ethical fashion and talks with Bangladeshi producers.
