A chance to enjoy wildflowers

The Hachioji Tourist Association is sponsoring this event in which participants can enjoy wildflowers while receiving a commentary from an expert on their way to the top of the mountain. There will also be a chance to view the wild growing Sekkoku orchid which sets its roots down in amongst trees, shrubs and rocks. At the end of the walk participants will go to the Head Temple Takao-san Yakuo-in for an in-depth talk and a lunch of vegetarian cuisine before heading home. A maximum of 70 people can participate.
