Time Out says

An art event featuring tasty snacks will be hosted in the entertainment districts of Ueno and Yushima. Ikenohata-Nakamachi street, which stretches along the south end of the Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park, was once lined with the most luxurious shops of the Edo period which were said to be even better than the ones in Ginza before the Great Kanto Earthquake. You’ll be able to navigate your way around with just one ¥500 coin.

There are plenty of exciting stops to make while you’re there, including the ‘Snack Mama and Bar Master’ roundtable discussion as well as a traditional kumihimo braid workshop (¥2,000). After you’ve checked out the participating venues, it’s also worth checking out some of the many nearby restaurants.
