If the combination of curry, live music and summer sounds good to you, head to Yokohama’s Red Brick Warehouse to experience just that. The Curry & Music Festival 2022 will have 24 speciality vendors serving up tantalising offerings like keema curry with pork and sweet potatoes, beef and cheese curry, ebi biryani, sea bream curry, butter chicken curry, and more. On the music front, 18 performers will keep the festivities upbeat, giving you something to dance to and work up an appetite for even more curry.
It’s free to enter the curry area, but you’ll have to pay to watch the performances. Tickets are ¥4,500 per person (free for junior high school students and younger children), plus an additional ¥500 for a drink ticket.
The event takes place daily from 11am to 9pm. Note that performances are only from Saturday to Monday.
