Time Out says

Established in Nara back in 1716, Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten is one of those venerable crafts purveyors that have survived through the centuries by relying on quality, tradition and gradual adaptation to changing times. Now celebrating 300 years in business, the shop is putting on this five-day carnival at Tokyo Midtown, where a pop-up shop will be opened on the first basement floor of the Atrium and various talks and workshops will take place. If your Japanese is up to par, try your hand at making Kutani porcelain, attend a cooking class and catch a talk by former football star Hidetoshi Nakata or 'plant hunter' Seijun Nishihata.
