This event at Ueno Park doesn’t just offer your standard highball cocktails with whisky and soda. There will be over 40 booths offering drinks centred around the shitamachi-style (downtown) highball, which has shochu and soda with a ‘mystery extract’. There will also be plenty of craft beer, wine, sake and other drinks available if you want to take a break from the highballs.
Don’t worry if you get hungry because there’ll be food like horumon-yaki (grilled offal), soup dumplings, gyoza and kebabs, plus desserts such as crepes and matcha soft-serve ice cream.
