Time Out says

From November 30, world leaders will be gathering in Paris for the UN's 2015 Climate Change Conference or COP21, tasked with addressing the thorny issue of how to deal with global climate change and its potentially disastrous effects. In the lead-up to the conference, activists and citizens around the world are organising Earth Parades in order to put pressure on the decision-makers and raise awareness of an issue that, in one way or another, is bound to affect us all. The Tokyo Earth Parade starts at Hibiya Park's open-air concert hall, where talks, gigs (Theatre Brook's Taiji Sato, Cicala Mvta) and other fun will be taking place from 1pm, while the march itself starts around 3pm on a route toward Ginza. All participants can also look forward to free Ben and Jerry's ice cream and attention from Earthman, the parade's tree-hugging mascot.
