Enjoy the spirit of the Edo period in this festival that features rakugo (traditional storytelling), ghost stories and Japanese dance as well as film and theatre events.
The rakugo performance is free of charge and English subtitles will be provided, so foreign audience members will understand what is being said. The Asakusa Dance on October 25 and 26 will be performed by real geisha, and you can deepen your understanding of the Edo period with workshops in the lobby of the performance hall, such as the Japanese tea ceremony.
