Travel the world via virtual reality with First Airlines, where you can jet off to another part of the world without ever leaving Tokyo. The virtual-travel company offers immersive VR experiences from 'Ikebukuro International Airport' (otherwise known as an office space in Ikebukuro), where you get to enjoy a two-hour 'flight experience' to a destination of your choice. Jet off to locations including Hawaii, New York, France, Italy and even other parts of Japan.
First class (¥6,580) and business class (¥5,980) options are available, and you get to taste some local specialities from your destination as part of the in-flight meal. You even get the full airline service once you take off, with flight attendants serving drinks along with your multi-course meal as they make their way down the aisle.
Of course, the experience is not complete without a bit of sightseeing. So make use of the overhead screen, iPad and VR goggles; you can explore your chosen destination via plenty of 360-degree video tours.
