Tobu Zoo up in Saitama is renowned not only for its rare white tigers, but also for this annual festival that celebrates the around 100,000 cosmos flowers blooming on the park's premises between mid-September and late October. Seven varieties of colourful flowers are used to recreate some of the zoo animals and amusement park rides, making for a fun show for visitors of all ages. Finally, the flower garden will be lit up from November onward as part of Tobu Zoo's winter illumination program.
