Forest Beer Garden
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.
Taking over the expansive outdoor spot located within the children’s play area inside Meiji Shrine’s Outer Gardens, the Forest Beer Garden distinguishes itself from other boozy events in town with by its tranquil, tree-lined surrounds and bubbling waterfall. This year, there will also be a 200-inch screen showing selected Rugby World Cup matches, so come cheer for your favorite team while enjoying pints of beer.
The popular all-you-can-eat-and-drink option includes everything from barbecued beef and pork to flavoured rum cocktails, wine and three kinds of draught beer. Despite being one of the largest beer gardens in Tokyo, with a capacity for around 1,000 people, it gets extremely busy at weekends, so advance bookings are recommended.
