Time Out says

The Nishi-Shinjuku neighbourhood is getting a temporary makeover with public spaces where you can relax outside. Until November 27, Citizen’s Plaza will be covered in turf, making it the perfect place to sit and have a picnic on nice days.

Head over on November 26 to see live performances by freestyle pianist Keichan and calligraphy artist Koho. There are also family-friendly workshops on how to play the kendama (a traditional Japanese toy), make balloon figures and spin plates on a stick from 10am to 5pm. November 27 will have more of a festival atmosphere with yosakoi dancers.

There will also be benches and tables set up outside participating buildings like the Shinjuku Mitsui Building, Shinjuku Center Building and many more. Don’t forget to check in at each location on the Nishi-Shinjuku Digital Walk Rally online (accessible via smartphone) to collect digital stamps and enter a lottery to win gift vouchers.
