Our favourite cat-girl Hello Kitty celebrates her 45th birthday this year, and for this special occasion, Tokyo Skytree has turned its Tembo Galleria into a pastel-coloured paradise for all her fans. Take Instagram-worthy shots at the many photo spots, including the large birthday cake panel featuring Hello Kitty and her friends; walk up the glass corridor connecting Floor 445 (that's the level at 445m high, not the 445th floor) and Floor 450; and trace the four decade-long history of our adorable character cat.
If you're feeling peckish, visit the Skytree café on Floor 350 and order the Hello Kitty-themed pasta, drinks or dessert. But before you head back down, don’t forget to pick up some adorable souvenirs to commemorate this special event.
