You've probably seen pictures of Holi, the annual Hindu festival in which people pelt each other with coloured powder. Thanks to the efforts of student group Switch, this technicolour bonanza will be heading to Japan for the first time this month, in a three-day event at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. All that coloured powder gets awfully messy, so the main ritual will be held inside a tent on Sunday afternoon (4pm start; ¥500). It's worth stopping by earlier in the weekend, though, for a full program of stage events – ranging from music and dance to yoga sessions – plus a food court and handicraft stalls.
