Tokyo’s biggest Vietnam Festival is held at Yoyogi Park in the summer, but you can get a taster for the main event at this spin-off in Ikebukuro’s Global Ring Theater.
The Ikebukuro Vietnam Festival may be held on a smaller scale than the Yoyogi Park extravaganza, but it still features six banh mi food trucks and ten booths selling Vietnamese goods. You can also see live performances by Vietnamese idol artists Uyen Linh and Quoc Thien, as well as a few local artists including Anirocks, Fantasia, V-Artists and Vietnam Hiromi.
