Time Out says

Encouraging us all to eat more healthy and delicious seafood, this salty celebration sees an enormous food truck serving a range of delicious kaisendon seafood rice bowls. This year’s edition includes a special menu using joban-mono, fresh seafood dishes from Fukushima prefecture, to support reconstruction in the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.

You can look forward to the maple salmon and ikura, hirame (olive flounder) and maple salmon, or the shirauo (baby sardine), negitoro and ikura combination which each go for ¥800 per bowl. If you want a little bit of everything, plus a slice of grilled eel, splurge on the zenbu-mori for an additional ¥400. If you’re hungry, you can get an omori (large size; ¥2,000) which is almost double the normal amount.

You’ll find the food truck in Tokyo at Ariake Garden on March 5 and 6, or if you’re in Yokohama, head to Queens Square on March 5 and Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse on March 6.
